"Plane Extreme"

...a ferry service.

Seems like they find heavily trashed, not-so-airworthy planes and try to deliver them to exotic places like Africa and South America. Caravans, 172s, etc.

Repeating story: Arrive- discover problems with planes (good stuff like loose propellor blades). Delivery goal is set back. Field repairs are made, then they fly to HQ. At HQ, there's a detailed inspection where they find many significant and risky additional things to fix. Delivery goal is set back more. "Everything" is fixed. The young pilots take off to deliver to the customer within the first hour of flight something fails. The flight diverts, for more "field repairs". This can repeat another time or two, but towards the end of the show, the plane arrives.

Of course, they fly through/around a lot of tropical thunderstorms and deal with flaky instruments.

They seemed? to show the pilot ice up a Caravan and then stall it trying to climb on top? I belive I've read that Caravans aren't very nice when stalled-nor is it a great thing to do in clouds. He descends where the ice melts in warmer temps- much drama-
