An empty light plane can do a zoom climb off the runway, bank up to 45 degrees and perform a touch and go? Revolutionary stuff. Those are some amazing engineers at Boeing.

Let's see if they can get into New York between the months of JUN-AUG without being subject to a GDP....then I'lll be impressed.

It is kind of graceful.

But as you point out, it ignores some of the more important items with the addition of overhead bin space, seat pitch and IFE.

Its my understanding that this particular airframe goes to Air New Zealand once its done with the certification process. I hope we got a good discount with all the unusual miles on the clock

The smoke from the smoldering batteries really adds to the show  .

I intend to do just that in about five hours from now. In an Airbus, no less.

Got to witness a Bendov....errr...Endeavour crew perform a go-around with a CR9 while we were taxiing back out for departure back to FLL. They left the gear hanging longer than I would have, but did't died.

I've seen the A380 do more impressive stuff in Singapore during the airshow there. Being closer to the action could have something to do with it, but still.

Indeed, Per...

Settling into trees and crashing is a hell of a lot more impressive than a zoom climb!
