I am going to SF for a week or so on Jan 20. Will be travelling via A380 - my first trip. Quite excited. :!:

You understand now that we expect a full report on the 380, do you?

Wishing you little to no structural breakup of the cheap composites, that the flight computer causes no questions to the pilots and that the pilots pull ups will be appropriate and measured.

And indeed, a thorough flight report is expected.

Thanks in advance.

- my record for such a flight is 11 gin and tonics, around 2008. The woman next to me was sick into a bag as we descended.
- I plan to take two laptop batteries if in-flight power is not provided as to provide adequate entertainment and writing capacity
- I find that I am quite creative when flying
- I will do my best to execute my duty and produce a flight report

I was on a BA A380 last week. Sadly the IFE is not as good as the Qantas or Emirates, not only is it difficult to navigate, but it doesn't have the external cameras wired into the IFE.

You will appreciate the quieter cabin and lower cabin altitude. You do feel better coming off an A380.

If you do get a window seat behind the wing, keep an eye on the outboard ailerons...

 ...for structural integrity?
