Interesting thought & interesting read.
The deal breaker for me is the need for multiple multiple parallel strips of concrete for simultaneous landings and take offs...seems we need about 5 of them these days and not sure how one big circle helps....
For high traffic areas / simultaneous operations in winds, it seems that someone's gonna have to operate with a tailwind.
Multiple concentric circles?....Ok, fine....good thing concrete, level ground, and bulldozer time are so cheap.

On a most serious note, I'm trying to figure out how I could get one of these things on MSFS and virtually give it a try.

Yes I double posted...But, there is double humour.
1) Telling Evan to shut up, that it's already being put into action- too good to pass up.
2) The ironing is too good pass up here. It would appear that Flyover America has the latest greatest circular airport! I actually did witness this this very evening. Was away from the computer so no good way to check Flightaware/whatever to see what's up.

Nah... it's already been established that he's plenty good at mind control without having to resort to such measures.
