I enjoyed MD88 service a couple of weeks ago. Trying to be cleaver when boarding I paused at the flight deck door and said, "Ah, steam gauges!" The captain turned and responded, "Yep, and if Kim Jong Un lobs over a nuc with an electromagnetic pulse, we'll still be in the air!"
