...it's been a few years since I cracked open the AIM, but isn't that the correct entry for entering a holding pattern when you are coming into it at 175 degrees the wrong direction over to 110 degrees in the wrong direction, so you can get turned around and make the normal right turns?
all that stuff seemed to be based on some slightly over-the-top logic, never could really figure out why it wasn't a lot simpler...
