12/17/2017.

No one did died, but ouch, it can't be good... 'near total flight stoppage' with passenger traffic likely jacked up for the holidays and limited capacity to clean up the mess.

Take the bus and leave the driving to us...

I love how the failure also disabled the "backup" power...

I love how the failure also disabled the "backup" power...
I read that the fire was associated with the primarily-backup switching apparatus- so both irony and a tougher engineering challenge.

Still, you'd think a big airport would have fuel and real estate and $ for a number of standby generators... I'd think they would have paid off economically.
