I think we need to remember that it’s not AA that let Gabe down, but Verbie’s aeroengineers and their faulty lav sinks and gas gauges...

You can see the picture of me sitting in 22A, this is what I mean that it is not a matter of comfort but of torture, pain, and geometry. My femur just doesn't fit there. Oh, and the picture was before the guy in front reclined his seat.
Gabe,

Great news! A solution has been found for your legroom problem, that will work on almost any airplane: https://pressfrom.info/au/news/offbeat/ ... -seat.html

You don't get it. That girl is nowhere close to 6' 4". Can you see how her femur fits between the backs of the seats? Mine doesn't, whether I put my ass on the seat or on my back doesn't make a difference.

This should solve most of your problems, especially since you now have some 747 sim time.

I seem to recall Gabieeee is returning to Uhmurica via DFW today (2/15/2019)

We will see if there are further incidents of "going technical" and not arriving here or there on time.

Over six legs Gabieee and I have three aircraft swaps (I guess AA is better than United, although we are comparing nowhere Canada to DFW).

Hoping you are able to wave to ITS in the cockpit of a FedEx somethingorotherbigass airplane (possibly even a crackerbox  )

The flight from MEX to DFW was uneventful, except of course for the seat pitch. I literally have knee pain 2 hours after arrival to DFW.
The flight from DFW to ELP is delayed, first 1 hour, now 2 hours. Current schedule is I will be arriving to ELP after 1:00 am.

Here some pictures for MEX-DFW:

Some pictures of my plane. Actually, 3WE, did you say cheap composite cracker box?

I see 2 engines/wing, but only one during passenger flap configuration check & subsequent. Cheap composite pylon failure? Air France flies from Mexico City to DFW using A-380s- everything French has fallen on hard times. (Sorry, /nitpicking  )

9.5 mil, includes a fresh C check, paint and an FAW kit with 2 engines, an APU, bunch of MLG assemblies and other stuff.

3:30 AM CST... Did you died?
No, I made it to ELP arriving 1:30 AM MST (2:30 CST)
Aircraft swap (and continuation of the 50% technical trend)?
Aircraft had technical issue earlier in the day. I don't know if it was repaired or swapped in a previous leg but not in DFW. Airplane arrived, people deplaned, and we boarded.

An interesting part is that the captain came to the gate and made a PA to the pax waiting to board:
"Thanks for your patience, apologize for the delay, yada yada... Oh, and , by the way, we just arrived from Albuquerque and there was quite a bit of turbulence all the time, and the route to El Paso is about the same route. So I will have the seat belt signs on the whole flight, I will not even the flight attendants stand up, forget about the sodas and pretzels, and I highly recommend that you go to the toilet here in the terminal before boarding, because you will not be able or allowed to use it in flight"

Fortunately, that didn't materialize and the flight was very smooth take-off to landing.

It was a CRJ-900 (sounds familiar, FlyBoy?). The plane was full but I managed to swap seats with a FA that was under training (and hence didn't have flight attendant seat, which were occupied by the rated flight attendants). She was in the window seat in the first economy row behind business. I was in the aisle seat behind her. She preferred an aisle seat to be able to get in and out more easily to perform her duties, and I wanted the legroom of the front seat. So one thing came good and one bad out of that swap:

- I got the legroom. In fact, an obscene legroom. I could stretch my legs 100%. My thought was that if they moved this row 10 inches ahead, it would still have a "business class" legroom and you will could give 1 inch more of legroom to the next 10 rows, including the seat I originally had where, of course, I would not fit. You don;t know how much of a difference just 1 inch makes when the difference is fit tight but fit vs not fit.
- As soon as we rotated, I the the pax next to me got literally showered. There was a lot of water coming from the overhead bins (well, not actually the overhead bins, but rather the duct under it where you have the FA call, lights, O2 masks and, oh yes, the AC ducts and nozzles. It was a brief shower first, then a stream, then dripping. After the initial shower that took us by surprise, the guy next to me took a bog soda cup that he had and contained the stream. The cup got full. When we reached 10K the FAs came, it was not a stream any more but an intense dripping, and they said "Don't worry, it's just condensation from the AC" to what I said "I am not worried but I am damp!" And this can't be normal, or is it? That the AC condensates the humidity in the air is a known fact, it happens in your house, your car... and you airplane. I hope that this was taken into account in the design and that there is some feature to route the condensed water somehow NOT on top of the paying customers!!! When the dripping diminished, they brought napkins and (actually, some red labels tat said something like galley equipment out of service) and made a "bandage" in the zone where most of the water was coming from. That amazingly worked!!!.

The rest of the flight was uneventful. I did take the "proof of slats set for take off" picture, but since it was dark the picture is very bad quality and not worthy of this forum.

I don't know if you realized, on top of the pictures I wrote "Some pictures of my plane" and below them "Yes, that is the transparent window of my plane" (which was a 737-800, 50% empty by the way so I moved to a premium economy seat with permission of the FA and without them attempting to charge me for that or threatening me to call security to escort me off the plane, as it happens in United)

Thus removing the motivation for you and others like you to purchase upgraded seats, thus decreasing their revenues, thus causing the end of the world. :?

I am deeply offended by your fascination with 'happy endings' and overly large femurs
