First one I remember was a Braniff 707 DAL-MSP. There was an earlier DC-6 GSW-MSP. Last was an American Eagle RJ LEX-DFW.
You're not a Freight Dawg unless you've shot the ILS to 23L at KYIP in a transport category aircraft no longer used in passenger service. You're OG if it had a tailwheel or BMEP gauges.

B747-200 (or -100, didn't know back then) of KLM in 1984 to Mexico. I was 4 years old and unable to ask educated questions about the type of engine and field performance considerations in Mexico City. Anyways, I left a lasting memory at the flight crew because I puked in the Jumbo Jet. Maybe that was the time I thought we need a B747 replacement.
Publicly, we say one thing... Actually, we do another.

First flight: I was about 5 years old. Family vacation to Disney World, via budget travel agent. Going from either Cleveland or Detroit to Orlando, with plane changes in Cincinatti, Atlanta, and two others (don't remember where). All I remember is we were riding on some noisy twin turboprop and I was getting airsick a lot. Then as the famous family story goes, we were running from one terminal to another in ATL trying to make our connection and I stop and say "Dad, I don't feel good..." and I throw up all over the carpeted floor in the middle of a crowd of people in the terminal. We were about to miss our flight, so we keep running to our gate and just leave it there. I also messed up the floor carpet on an MD-80.

Last flight: Jan. 23, 2008. N47687. PA28-161 Piper Warrior. KLAF-KLAF-KLAF-KLAF-KLAF-KLAF. Night currency flight, with 7 other planes in the pattern! Thank God the tower was still open or that would have been hairy.

Last commercial flight: Continental 737-800 KCLE-MMUN Dec. 23, 2006. MMUN-KCLE Dec. 30, 2006.

First flight:
Domestic would have been either an Ansett or TAA DC9 or 727 back in 1977, SYD-ADL - probably TAA though.
International was a QF 747-238 SYD-HNL in Dec 83.
Last Flight:
Domestic QF 763 SYD-MEL 31st Jan 08
International TG 77E BKK-MEL 12th Nov 07

Going slightly OT:

Most interesting/fascinating flights:

Local flight with a Piper PA-18: takeoff and landing from/on the glacier of Jungfraujoch/Switzerland at about 11,000' MSL, crossing in front of the world-famous north wall of the Eiger - the pilot was talking all the time through his long beard in Schwitzerdütsch - and I didn't understand a single word.

Up to 4000' AGL in a Pilatus PC6 Turbo Porter - six parachutists jump out - pilot dives with propeller in reverse - landing minutes before the chutists hit the grass

Local flight with a Crossair Saab SF340 from Lugano/Switzerland to the Matterhorn, some full circles at about half the visible height of the mountain, and back to Lugano along the Lago Maggiore, again beneath the peaks of surrounding mountains - and all for a mere SFr 99,--

local flights with small open biplanes - Great Lakes and Stampe SV4

Someone around here has a Chipmunk. I need to figure out who it is so I can befriend him and get him to let me fly it. Looks like SUCH a fun airplane!

Well the pilot that flew me was Polish, of advanced years and probably flew fighters during the war. He made it an unforgetable experience.

First: LHR-BDA aged 2 supposed to be a VC-10 but ended up as a 707, much to Dads annoyance at the time so I am told. May have been an earlier flight as Dad did have his pilots license but no photos exist
Last: CHC-AKL, this will change on Sunday, Thursday, and Saturday next week

For flights inbetween (excluding circuits, gliders, helicopters) refer to signature

First flight, early '70s, most likely an SAS DC-9, EKCH-EKKA diverted to EKBI due fog. I remember telling my Dad that I thought this was how filling in a sandwich felt as we flew between layers of clouds.

Last flight must have been June 2006, Ryanair B737, going home from the AD.com meet in London.

Searching for the dates of the London meet turned up this old cached AD.com thread
