Ejection Stats JAN 2008

In JAN 2008 a total of 10 lives were saved by ejection.

By system:
3x ACES II
1x KM-1
1x VS-1
5x Martin Baker

By event:

- JAN 07, USN, F/A-18E Super Hornet, MidAir, Pilot ejected, rescued
- JAN 07, USN, F/A-18E Super Hornet, MidAir, Pilot+NFO ejected, rescued
- JAN 15, USAF, F-16C Block 30, crashed in Gulf of Mexico, Pilot ejected, taken to a Key West hospital
- JAN 28, FAP, F-16B MLU(M4), crashed in pine forest, Pilot ejected near ground
- JAN 28, Russian AF, L-39, crashed in Volgograd region, Instructor ejected but died from his injuries, student ejected and rescued
- JAN 28, Italian AF, Tornado, Fire during t/o, both pilots ejected safely
- JAN 31, IAF, MiG-27, crashed West Bengal, pilot ejected safely
Sincere condolences to all Norwegians! I guess you will need some aquevit to get over this.
