I think that this has a long way to go yet before it is final.

Re: No more F-22
If the aircraft is to be canceled, which I think is the right decision, why purchase four more for a total of 187, instead of the currently planned 183 ? Long-lead times ? Currently about 130 have been built.
By the way, the VH-71 presidential helicopter program has also been chopped.

Whilst the JSF might currently be cheaper on paper, I would not be surprised if it ends up almost as expensive as additional F-22s.If the aircraft is to be canceled, which I think is the right decision, why purchase four more for a total of 187, instead of the currently planned 183 ?
