RAAF Retire Caribous

http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/20 ... sture.html

A4-152 arrived at Point Cook around 1300 on Thursday the 26/11/09 A4-140 flew Richmond to Canberra on Friday the 27/11/09 it was supposed to fly down to Pt Cook with 152, but they were concerned it may go un-servicable and have no spares down at Pt Cook so it stayed at Richmond overnight, 140 will be taken apart to allow for transport to the Australian War Memorial in Canberra where it will be ressembled and put on public display, 152, well hangar space is a massive issue down at Pt Cook air museum and I dont think they have a suitable hangar at present to even fit it into so Im lead to belive it will be 'cocooned' and stored outside for now, I know Pt Cook open their 'strike hangar' in January which will house the F111 another mirage and two other aircraft (cant recall off the top of my head)

Cheers
