USAF arrivals today 2 x B1-B lancers 1 KC-10 6 x F-16 Vipers

Tomorrow is practice day before the airshow begins Monday so will be heading down to Avalon Airport in the morning, hope to bring you all some pictures ;)

Currently also have 4 x Singapore Airforce F-16 Vipers and 2 x Super Pumas already at Avalon along with a KC-135.

It was three USAF F16's not six.

Didnt go down for the arrivals Saturday due to the weather being not that terrific, yesterday had the two USAF F-22 Raptors arrive from Guam along with a KC-135, show begins today Im going Thursday and Sunday, looking forward to it.

Patience, I went down there Friday (like a bat out of hell) because I was supposedly informed of the USAF arrivals spent 4 hours down there for two A320's grrrrrrrr ohhh well and a disappointed son whom at the moment thinks everytime we are going out we are going to the airshow, this has been going on for two weeks LOL, hes a bit of an aviation buff at 3 :clap:

Don't forget to bring ear protection for the wee one when you go to the show, it is loud for them little ears.

Yeah will be for sure, I wasnt far off the rwy when a B1-B took off from MEL a couple of years ago and that thing is LOUD, impressive LOUD, looks like the F-22's are static only which is disapointing.

Interesting--I didn't realize the Royal Australian Navy still used Catalinas.

They dont its part of HARS have a look at http://www.hars.org.au its part of the flying display.

No worries, more to come when I attend on Sunday, might be more warbird type pictures such as spitfires, mustangs, meteors, canberra bomber, super connie, sabre etc

maybe.... but they are even that way on carrier launches...
