After harsh, below-normal, sub-freezing, snowy weather, temperatures break to nearly 60F. Moving logs from a nasty pine tree that I cut down.

A "707" in a gray military livery passes overhead on the South downwind at Flyover International Airport. It appears to be half as high as normal, and not a bit larger than the Southwest 737-many-hundred-more-than-the-original that passes a few minutes later in-trail.

I don't have a yard (nor 0.9144 meters ), so no yard work for me.Perhaps you can describe nice days of yard work and views of departing F-27's...RR's are another beautiful, largely-historic sound.
While living with Mommy (and while staying with her after my total bike disaster!!!! ) I could sometims see airthingies departing Morón air base, but distance makes them difficult to identify, except for when they pass over her house (like the previously mentioned F27 did).
On May 1st, 2008, there was an air exhibition at Morón and, to my delight, gravity-defying machinery flew repeatedly "close" to Mommy's. Of course it would have been better to learn of the exhibition beforehand so I could have assisted . I took a crapload of horrible pictures with my point-and-shoot camera and its crappy zoom.

My house is boring in that respect. I could sometimes see a Cessna Skymaster that used to fly daily over my neighbourhood from my bathroom's window, that's all. And trains . My cats love seeing them and beg me to pick them up soy they can see them through the window.
(That is a temporary station while the real one -two blocks from my house- is undergoing repairs).

Fortunately the banks were all gentle.
*Footnote: There are many assumptions: I think it was one C-130 as I saw it outbound once, pretty much on the extended centerline, but maybe there were multiple C-130's (4 total flybys witnessed, 3 inbound, 1 outbound.)

Friday the 13th, May, 2016, A great day.
Mostly sunny, deep blue skies and 75F. Planted some veggies in the garden. Drove past the Spirit of Flyover airport and caught the Blue Angels practicing for tomorrow's air show. I maintained decent SA and did not have a total driving disaster.

I ass-ume they can beat up Evan (and perhaps even Flyboy) on their knowledge and execution of procedures.
I ass-ume they know and love fundamental basics, recognize that there comes a point where you can pull up too much, that you should watch your instruments.
I ass-ume that a large number of 'normal' procedures were violated- I don't think low passes, formation flying, speeds above 250 knots, loops are normally allowed in Class D airspace...
...on the other hand, I don't doubt that special procedures and exceptions were formally in effect for these activities...
...AND...THAT being said, would you still say that there's a statistically higher risk with their cowboy showmanship versus more typical conservative operations?

Beautiful skies, yard work and the sounds of a B-29? out giving rides.
I should probably have gotten a ride- but it would hurt much just to watch.
Hoping for visual contact sometime. Will try to catch a jetphoto, but a dual EALCAS failure is probably more likely.

Beautiful evening and sunny skies and light winds...
HOWEVER
Two Cowboy Monkey pilots fly over 3BS's back yard in cheap composite crackerboxes screwing around with much Tomfoolery and near zero airspeed too...it's a wonder they didn't stall, as they improvisationally revved up and kill their engines which is the type specific procedure to address stalls.
BUT, worse yet, they have a near-midair collision with a business jet. Certainly they should have steered away from the fast-moving jet!
HOWEVER
