In post #8 in the thread about the Delta near-air-disaster on that other forum, there's a hint of evidence that Evan may have a sense of humor.

Is it possible his account has been hacked and someone else is impersonating him?

Another hint in post #54 in the thread about Emirates' almost perfect landing, much to TeeVee's delight.

The boy has a sense of humor...

Remember, if there's a crash landing he might just grab his laptop / carry so that it does not go up in flames- as opposed to some other black and white thinking that you never ever ever try to grab any carry-on stuff, (lest you get run down by someone.)

Just wish he respected pilots, human factors and gray areas more...

Yes.

"We" know. He was most interested in making a bold statement about 737 autopilot systems, and has since been quiet.

I think we also find airdisaster.info to be a place where we can find relief from other forums who's members display limited enlightenment.

Furthermore, the membership you cite is evidence of AD.info's openness to wider ranges of thought, while also supporting higher levels of thought as compared to other aviation fora.

Thanks, as-always.

Depends on your context.

Thinking while piloting an aircraft is most illegal.

"Politically progressive" thought is; however, legal and welcomed.

But we (Gabe, you and I, maybe also elaw but most certainly Not_Atlcrewboy2548m) were hoping for him to stay nonetheless :-(

...there, I've successfully been trolled*. Hope you are smiling Shadey, whether you are Evan, or he is who he really is (some sort of snot nosed rich kid who's never ridden a tricycle, but who does indeed love procedures and have excellent QRH reading comprehension) while you remain as a Super Genius.

Peace, out.

FYI, I do not know what "Other place" you are talking about, I am not registered at any other aviation fora. Although I am aware that this place is a foil for discussion elsewhere (and I am fine with that).

The other place is JetPhotos.net's forum, where Chris Kilroy invited us after AirDisaster.net's total server disaster. Our beloved Not_Karl , widely credited as the inventor* and promoter of this childish not-naming-that-other-place-directly trend, has a grand total of 28 posts over there.
We like to discuss and/or have fun with that certain other forum topics here. A great example is the "F.A.O.: 3WE" thread, wich could -should?- be named "JPForums' shenanigans".

The best part is that someone went so far as to document this in a wikipedia article:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airdisaster.com

EDIT: Just rechecked the wiki link. It used to mention AD.info and another site where 'refugees' settled.

That is now gone, but a reference to the 'pedo' affairs was added...with the status that the wiki article was updated within the last three monts...

Very strange- I blame ITS.

It's been a long time (years) since I last checked that article. Intriguing. :?

Too late to edit my previous post :( .

Here is the missing text:
New alternatives to AD.com have also been created, and lately many of these "refugees" have resigned from Jetphotos.net and joined two other sites, the AirDisaster Unofficial Forums and From the Flightdeck and now since February 1st the new improved Airdisaster Info is officially working also.
It was deleted on May 27 because "None of these sites seem to exist and a Google search didn't reveal any other similar sites" .
The text alluding to the total body hair disaster was added on June 4 from a mobile device. It did not originate in Sweet Monkey River (unless the ISGPOTM used a proxy... or made it diring one of his missions) .

We should (re)add this forum.... :D
