Active Shooter / Fatalities at FLL Terminal 2

Several news reports indicate multiple fatalities in the Delta baggage claim area. Hope our forumite friends are well! A report just came in that the shooter is in custody.

I wonder if he was targeting individuals/family group that was known to him or randoms. If randoms, its an odd place to have an episode.

It seems that he arrived in a flight, collected his legally-checked-in gun in the baggage claim area, took it from the case, loaded it, and started shooting.

Also, no problem letting him have guns, even when...
In November, Santiago paid a visit to the FBI office in Anchorage, telling agents he was hearing voices and being directed by a US intelligence agency to watch ISIS videos, law enforcement sources told CNN.
George Piro, the FBI's special agent in charge in Miami, told reporters that Santiago was turned over to local authorities and he voluntarily submitted to a mental health evaluation.
"His erratic behavior concerned FBI agents," Piro said Saturday.
