I just posted this:
In defense, after years of MSFS and thinking about this stuff, and even screw ups in real 172s with procedures and airmanship...I realize that it's probably good that I am NOT a commercial pilot nor active with the PPL business.

Anyway, I ask the membership of AD.info for forgiveness for my many instances of displaying big holes in my aviation knowledge.
I invite Flyboy to say, Indeed, Concur, Noted or No.
...and I am haunted by the ole "pot-calling-the-kettle-black" and "three fingers pointing back" rules......and who has said enough stupid things over the years displaying some big holes in their aviation knowledge over the years that I'm not really sure they actually fly an airplane...

I pledge that I will not assault, threaten, interfere, intimidate, or refuse safety orders of you or Not_Mom.I'm popping enough popcorn to make BoboBaby's entire fleet overweight.
However, I hope that you will not zip-tie me and haul me away from my computer if I ask when the popcorn will be ready.
Will it bother you if I were to video my question with my cell phone?
Where can I review the contract of popcorn conveyance...the back of a napkin?

One very important and helpful trait of a good Captain is discretion. There are things you just don't say in a public forum, regardless of what legal backing (or lack thereof) you have. I suppose, if one is within weeks of retirement, perhaps that's not as much of an issue, but I'd like to think one's standards of behavior remain steady no matter the time remaining.I just posted this:

Something that's discussed extensively in Upgrade training is that a Captain should act in such a way as to COMmand authority rather than DEmand it. The point being that authority should come from your conduct, not your words. To that end, what comes out of your mouth can make or break you, and it's not even WHAT comes out but HOW it comes out that's often critical.
Our friend BB seems a little slow on the uptake in general. Whether that's senility or not is a touch above my paygrade.

...A photograph with a disturbing effect, not unlike Nair discussions...
My analysis is that Not_Mom is the Captain of corn popping and that:...One very important and helpful trait of a good Captain is discretion. There are things you just don't say in a public forum...
1. You are now, forever, stuck at the First Officer level.
OR
2. You are weeks from corn-popping retirement- even though we are still disturbed by the inconsistency of said comments.
Disturbingness aside, the humour and ironing are always appreciated.

It is not clear if it is a Boeing or Air Bus
It would seem he even visited with the passenger who made a direct threat to a crewmember, and that no zip-ties were involved.
Sad, that the media does not see fit to mention his ISGConflictManagementOTM

...and I just can't help but keyboard-quarterback and ask if the FA deviated from procedure and should have said, "sir, please stay out of this" instead of charging forward in an aggressive manner.

I'm actually corn-popping retired, as my gas provider has suspended service to the building I live in because such small technicalities and non-issues as leaks and old, dangerous installations not meeting current safety standards, procedures and regulations....A photograph with a disturbing effect, not unlike Nair discussions...My analysis is that Not_Mom is the Captain of corn popping and that:...One very important and helpful trait of a good Captain is discretion. So, I was lying about the corn-popping. But still have a beautiful girlfriend, a red Audi and drive a cargo 747 for a living.

Re: F.A.O.: 3WE
Whenever a relative is going to fly, I tell them to always wear the seatbelt and that people has did died because of clear air turbulence. Of course, the seatbelt, as stated there, will not prevent impact from loose people/trolleys/carry-ons/panels/zip ties or the dreaded drink spillage, but is better than being the ball in a flying possibly cheap-composite-crackerbox pinball. Of course, the real solution would be to ban all planes...

Clase de español
NTNLMPI
No
Tengo (I have)
Ni (it usually means "neither", but in this case is "even". It can be omitted)
La (The)
Más (More)
Puta (well... there are a lot of words to choose from! Let's stick with "slut")
Idea.
Rough translation = "I don't have even the slutiest idea", meaning "I don't have even the slightest idea". Hope this helps.
With Google Images I found Evanie's turbine-thingy, it is the Heat Transfer Reactor Experiment-3 (HTRE-3).
I do not think it is a good idea to disclose your adventures in travelling with an opposite sex name in a forum of fencepervs who like to discuss hair removal and share their fantasies of zip-tying you . At least you are not underage...
So, He IS a real captain! Or maybe TeeVee is not a real lawyer... and both are Evanie's alter-egos .

Re: F.A.O.: 3WE
Well, our beloved Aeroparque seems to be longer each time I visit it (Its outside perimeter, actually, now being extremely difficult to reach by foot for my dirty fenceperving deeds )Each runway has three lenghts.
When I was a little Not_Karlie, I used to go with Not_Dad to Parque Chacabuco's swimming pool. Entrance was free for children up to 5-year-old. Guess who sweared his 7-year-old -and as tall as at least a 9yo- son was only five?As a person who has traveled with a baby under 2 in my lap, I can tell you that this is impossible. You are asked if you will fly with lap children, and then are asked for the date of birth. Did they lie? That is not "didn't think...". That is think and intention.
I'm actually surprised that Not_Brother and I (5.5 and 10) didn't fly as lap children on our first (and last) air trip in 1995...

There is much 'information' flying around over there and so much to be learned or not_learned.
I just had a most interesting standby experience on United too...several shades of gray involved.
