Airline Customer Service Sucks

Postby 3WE » Wed Nov 06, 2019 9:04 pm

Ordered 4 tires from Wally World- Due in Monday, Nov 4.

Monday, the online system shows them in the store.

I go there, "we can only find 3".

Well, where is the fourth?

They don't know.

At 5:30 PM, an e-mail comes out (your shipment is delayed). They were promised for Monday at 6:00 PM.

Inquries on Tuesday provide no information- the Internet says "check back later"

Person at the store says, "give it a couple of days".

Today (Wednesday) I get a text that SOMETHING is ready for pickup- being just a tad paranoid, I check further.

Internet order tracking site says, "Tire due in Wednesday November 13" (Next week). However, another part says, "Order ready for pickup".

Hey, I'll call. Been on hold for 30 min.

Is this what happens when you use the Internet to look for the lowest price?

Lukily for them, I am not trapped in a cramped aluminum tube on a ramp for 4 hours, and had my prior flight delayed and am tired and just want to go home.

1. GoodYears...they're OK, aren't they?
2. Remember, they will be run through lots of highly nutritious cow manure...not overly interested in spending too much $
3. Please do not be too hard on the #1 retailer of Flyover, USA.

Installation last night...4:00 PM appointment. at 3:45 they said, give us 1:15...but maybe it will just be one hour. Left at 6:30 PM...Two guys in the shop. They did my 4 tires, a tire for another guy, and an oil change...

Things were PAINFULLY slow.

Yes, Flyboy, I screwed up. I will have to see if I can get Evan on this to suggest some government oversight.

Sounds exclusive and sophisticated. Are you sure you are Not_being charged for it?
