I believe it was our good Sickie who once posted this explanation (or one with the same idea):This is a football:

I have to admit, The Little Man deserved it. It would have been the pinnacle of unfairness for Little Man to retire without a Cup while Mbappe would have had TWO cups by age 23.
I like how the puck, like if it was piloted by a tiny Squid, aimed specifically to the unprotected area of the head. Ban ALL incomplete protections?
Congratulations! (please, define "world")2. West Flyover, World Champions
Thanks! (don't tell anybody, but I don't like UnAmerican Football and couldn't care less for the worldcup). Do you plan to celebrate with Brianie when Flyover/a Flyoverian wins in a probably Not_carbon neutral proper man's sport?3. Nice to share this with my two favorite Argies, and your championship in SOCCER.

I did spend time on MSFS with Young Ms. 3BS, but flying virtual aeroplanies didn’t interest her.Teachers are our greatest influences in life, and one high school teacher left an impression on Ms. 3BS when they showed ESPN 30 for 30 fútbol documentary The Two Escobars in her geography class. This documentary not only inspired her to visit Colombia at some point, but also attend a Colombian soccer game. Another bucket list item checked off, we attended a local fútbol match between the Millonarios and La Equidad.
We attended with a few Americans, Canadians, British, and French, and were able to pregame with beer, shots, and empanadas. Throughout the match, the crowd was singing, cheering, and yelling Puta at every opportunity against the opposing team.
The game didn’t disappoint, and we got to see three yellow cards, two red cards, and a huge fight in the end. Ms. 3BS couldn’t have been happier.
We ended the night with some delicious soup and tacos, and watched the documentary since Boyfriend 3BS had never seen it.
