Excuse my excitement, given the inherent dangers of going around, underslung engines, somatogravic illusions, fatal software flaws and pilot stupidity I thought I was going to witness an amazing TOTAL AIR DISASTER!!!!

And don't forget, it's an A340 for God's sake! It barely climbs out when you are trying to take off, let alone when you are trying to land.

…and if a train came along…it couldn’t stop…

Gabe: A340s climb fine. Just keep one hand on the power and one on the stick, and your eyes on appropriate instruments and windows, regardless of what codemode is in effect…not_unlike one does in a 172.

And... did you notice where most of the participants in the video were standing? We could have had that ultra-rare combination of a TOTAL AIR DISASTER and a TOTAL TRAIN DISASTER* at the same time!

We could compare and discuss trainie emergency braking (or lack thereof) with aeroplanie anti-skid-off braking characteristics and guess the amount of PSI involved!!
