9-11 memories not of the terrorist attack

Postby Sickbag » Thu Sep 08, 2011 8:33 pm

What's you best memory of 9-11-2001 that doesn't involve reference what so ever to the terrorist attack??

Mine was being stuck in a hotel full of Germans in Crete.
They ate ham at breakfast ,which freaked me out.

Working night shift back then..... I was sound asleep.
you still have to find a crew willing to fly this "barely airworthy" heap
no such thing as "barely airworthy" it's either Airworthy or Not
100% incorrect Ever hear of Ferry Permit? issued for Non airworthy aircraft
LOL

You know what really boiled my piss on that trip, before I moved to the hotel full of Krauts , the sack of shit owner of the so called hotel I was originally staying in,trying to charge me extra because my room, which might of passed as a oven in a concentration camp, had a crappy fan in it. the money grabbing cock sucker.
it made sharing a hotel full of Germans almost civilised in comparison.

I had a Sainsbury's Four Cheese pizza for dinner, with particularly soft marscapone in the company of a good friend from Frosinone, a small town in southern Italy. I drank Torres Coronas 1997 that evening, a very pleasant vintage. I remember noting how my carpet in my lounge needed replacing and how I did not particularly care for the sofa that I was sitting on for most of the evening. I replaced both of them shortly afterwards.

The NEXT day, however, I had a date with a very, very nice young lady who, after I walked her home obliged me rather pleasantly. Unfortunately I fell off a kerb on the way home, twisting my ankle and somewhat jarring my back.

David Hilditch is particularly fond of pointing this out.

Did you fall or where you pushed?
I'm sensing another 9-11 conspiracy here...

The Germans have always been fond of country-sharing arrangements.
