We do appreciate it when you have something valuable to contribute, but we appreciate your usual admonitions and sarcasm even more.
The ironing there is that Evanie himself hardly ever posts anything that's NOT an admonishment. Must be worried about copyright infringement...

Evanie, there:
If I had an airline and found that one of my pilots had lost speeds, failed to execute the established procedure (where nothing prevented it) and rode it out without incident, that pilot is going to be physically punished.
Fixed?

He appears to be Not_showing much respect to cargo pilots, so I would say he is Not_Bobbyie. He's also Not_Not_Karlie, but he could be the real Karl.

I don't know... Maybe he is only jealous and reluctant to acknowledge all that we and the aeroplanie industry owe to Tired_Captain.

 and ROFLMAO.

The photo does lack the 1/3 - 2/3 composition I like, no pretty lighting, nor a human interest aspect as I was taught in my news photography class, but as we've seen, that knowledge and artistic aspects mean little compared to sharpening without over sharpening, and rejection of anything lacking some correction while claiming that altered photos are the tops of being unethical...

There's a most unexpected pun contest between Evanie and Brianie going on right now.
(...)nor a human interest aspect as I was taught in my news photography class (...)
Sorry, you know they're pretty intolerant of "distractions" and didn't want to risk a rejection.

There is actually a website dedicated to airline meals. http://www.airlinemeals.net
Do we have active users there?

Thank you for screening the screening thread and identifying people who key in on the little secret mutual love JP screener society (and other not-so nice descriptions)- and then call them out on it and "touch their nerves"

I also like it that Iain Ashmore is a really big boy!

I also wonder if that is a fake user name. I ain't askin no more?

Should we go to that thread and post comments like Cool pic's bro'...what's the link for the other site?

Gabriel:

I am sorry, but there is a real risk of this becoming a near-total, common, joking addition to my posting style.

The entertainment value may be weak, but I am easily entertained (as evidence by my participation here and there).

And there is that shred of real relevance- when strange crashes occur and we are at a loss for any explanation- it could indeed be a meteor.

I do wish we had a solution for the broad Wal-Marting of businesses everywhere. Yes, we feel it in agriculture too.

And no, the pilot with a concealed gun or a bomb transported in the cargo hold don't qualify either.

What if the pilot drops toilet paper rolls?

Polish Tu-154 crash, new report.
I find it alarming that the possibility of dual meteorite impact (first one on the wingtip and, later, one on the center tank -the latter as we've already seen on TWA800-) is not investigated.

3WE,

Why do you always insist in seeing the negative aspects of this sort of thing?

The Internet is a wonderful way for people to share all sorts of useful information, and deserves some appreciation. Thanks to a poster in that thread, the individual who posted the photos now knows that in those photos, the view of the aircraft is obstructed by a fence. In the pre-Internet days, how could he have known that?

Leave me out of this. On two occasions, I gave some photo editing advice and Brianie agreed.

Ever since then Karlie has razzed me AND tracked the rejection flame wars.

More recently, I suspect that some of these guys are trolling...

Ok, I admit it, it gives me a crap eating grin...

I may know more about photography than the JP screeners, but alas, I have no credentials.

Still 1/3 2/3 composure and human foreground clutter are generally pleasing.
