Sorry, I’ll take cheap composites.
I ike the red front wheel. Why can't real aeroplanies have them?

Facebook livery page- Photo from a Captain Mike Martin.

Terrible photo.

Background clutter.

Poorly cropped.

Not_Karl will list more.

HOWEVER

I love the photo- artsy how the wing leads the eye.

I love the subject. (The little dot is a period)

That is Gabe and my idea to solve stall crashes…each one sounds an independent stall warning at 0.5 knot AND 0.1 degree AOA increments coupled to extremely condescending voice commands.

TOTAL AIR DISASTER!!!!!

Postby 3WE » Sun Jul 10, 2022 11:20 pm

No one did died, but perfectly good, beautiful airplanes are being retired and scrapped.

This must stop. Fire Boeing executives, ban all new airplanes…I’ll even wear masks if it will help.

Aeroplanies have been calling pilots "retard" for years with little to no result. I will reiterate that cockpit seats should be equipped with cattle prods.

Sad indeed  . But I'm still using my face diaper and old, nice, :D metal :D aeroplanies keep getting replaced with new, automated, TAD!!!-prone :x cheap-composite-crackerboxes :x   .

It's at the Pima Air & Space Museum. I suspect ITS would ask why there are French aeroplanies outside junkyards...

You're welcome! :D Yeah, it took some tries  . I forgot to add that, according to some JetPhoto, it was withdrawn from service in 1991.

Apparently Boeing management told Verbie to cut costs and be more LEAN in his engine ordering…They should have been fired then, too, although I like the jet-less Jetphoto:

I went back to the very first post of this thread, and ironingly found an aeroplanie parked in the ILS critical area.

Of course, this is Flyover, where we like guns and Bibles and don’t care IF we’re cleared to land, let alone HOW we’re cleared. This is also the site (although 180 degrees opposite) where I did the go-around and deviated to the West….

I’m just kidding, for fun flyboy, the airport only had a VOR approach/circle to land. No Cat XLIX ILS
Kodak 110 Pocket Instamatic camera with a sliding zoom/wind angle option and 400 ASA film.

Date: 1981

Airport where 3BS did about half of his PPL training. Note houses and trees that resulted in a ~500 ft displaced threshold. I have no idea how close the Commander is to the runway, BUT I think it would be beyond the hold short line at a typical airport.

I could probably do some cropping and get that quaint look ATL crew described there. Would I entitle it a 172 and risk the commander being foreground clutter, or is it vice versa with the Cessna being background color.

Graininess/focus is definitely a problem, it's 400 ASA color film- famous for that graininess.

Being somewhat serious: This was an attempt to have a real 'artistic' photograph', but it's kind of a failure. I am semi serious about the cropping (and assuming I had all of the clarity dust spot stuff they fret over, there. Historical documentation of a different time in general aviation and an airport that is now obliterated by industrial / office parks.

Oh yeah, my AVATAR is 'stolen' from someone landing at this very runway some years later, after the house and trees were removed.

Edit: I see that you have to actually go there to see the pictures.

Apparently Boeing management told Verbie to make carbon neutral aeroplanies…They should have been fired for greenwashing, although I like the jet-less Jetphoto:
Fixed and the GliderPhoto is indeed very nice.

Okay you lost me. Is that:
  • A reference to a time in the video
  • A reference to a time in another video
  • A reference to a video in another time
  • A landing clearance
  • A secret coded message to the squid mother ship, which sources say is a submarine, hiding under the north polar ice shelf?
