Is the Canadian wildfire smoke beautiful?

Surreal?

Nasty?

Is there a rough altitude where you climb above it? (Please share aforementioned value)

I have not had the pleasure to fly into or around that crap. I am writing this from Baltimore where it appears clear and a million, more or less.

It's weird... here in the Bahston area we usually get affected by the same weather (and "weather") systems that affect NYC. There has been a little smoke around here lately, but seemingly not enough to affect anything.

The smoke blewover Flyover…it was not_different from summer haze. We also set a record low dewpoint (mid 30s) and had cool fronts going east to west for a couple weeks.

I blame the squid.
