Not sure USAGA is that great either. Before Argentina, banning Puero Rico, or Russia might be a good idea.

Now that we’re done with the banning list, do we think they broke something during aerobatic maneuvers, making the spin unrecoverable?

The video seems to miss it except? for a blob of smoke?

Because it looks like they simply misjudged their altitude. Doesn't look like a "spin" either.

[Missing noun] doesn't look like a "spin" either.
I ass ume that [missing noun] was the “intended prior maneuver” as opposed to the pictured final maneuver.

Like Gabriel, I’m the eternal optimist that measured pull ups and carefully measured shove overs can often improve the outcome.

IMPTAHOO they simply blew the pull up, more than they simply misjudged altitude.

Statistics. Most of the stall-spin-crash-burn-did_dieded accidents by large don't involve something breaking outside the pilot's brain.

They were doing an aerobatic display, according to the news (I have seen no video of that). So both things are possible. A a maneuver evolved into a unintended spin or an intentional spin without enough altitude (or enough technique) to recover.
