(More) IA image creation shenanigans
I can't find my old thread on the subject (or maybe I posted on an unrelated thread), so here we go again. This time, with Bing.
I asked for "An airplane with the perfect number of engines" expecting, of course, three. But our IA-soon-to-be-overlords have a different (and obviously incorrect) opinion:
Asking instead for "An airplane with the correct number of engines" produced three uninteresting, relatively normal (except for the fan blades)underslung TurbinePictures (only the turbine and part of the wing, no complete aeroplanie visible) and this revolutionary idea, the landing-engine:
I tried with "A TOTAL AIR DISASTER!!!!", but Bingie wants something "more descriptive" .
"An aggie from St. Louis" reveals Threewee's possible identities. He's very fond of the McDonald's Douglas Arch, American Handegg and automated teller machines and appears to be made of wood and/or other cheap composites:
I'm tempted to ask for an "International Super Genius Pilot of the Millennium" but I fear that so much awesomeness could make the servers explode...

Automatic Teller Machine?
Re: (More) IA image creation shenanigans
No_soy Carlos claims that Anglais is not_his primary language.
However; I trust his sarcasm.
Given that Gabriel is a resident of College Not_Station Texas, he may understand a particular hand-egg rivalry of Orange Cowboy Monkeys who do not_have have an Agricultural curriculum.
Their not_purple livery would explain automatic teller machines.
Comprende, muchachos? (not_to be confused with Do you understand, Monchavo?)

Re: (More) IA image creation shenanigans
That's the fist thing I thought, however, Texas Agricultural and Mechanic University is Texas A&M or TAMU, not ATM.
I know that the logo has the big T on top with the leg of the T between the A and the M underneath, but...
- It's still not ATM.
- It doesn't have the spade or feather or whatever it is that the AI character has in all it caps.
- Most importantly, it's in Texas. No_Carlos prompt was "An aggie from St. Louis".

Re: (More) IA image creation shenanigans
By the way. UT beats TAMU academically and at sports.
Take a look at the orange dominance:

Re: (More) IA image creation shenanigans
But the real question is Why does Rice play Texas?
Re: (More) IA image creation shenanigans
Well, it is ATM, unless you go to the trouble of doing [ size=large number ] for the T.I know that the logo has the big T on top with the leg of the T between the A and the M underneath, but...
- It's still not ATM
It depends, but probably 60% of the time “Aggie” refers to a fan of Texas A&M University…and 40% to “someone who works in agriculture”.
Thus Not_Karl’s creations show dudes with ATM
on their shirts and a not_fuhtball in their arms.
As to the questions of who plays whom in college football (or hand-egg (except for field goals, punts and PATS)), we have screwed it up pretty bad.
I blame greed and Boeing management.

Cajero Automático
But you read text from the top first, so that would be like
T
A M
Texas
Agriculture & Mechanics
It's TAM, not ATM. Except that people say TAMU (adding University at the end).
But in any case, if the AS wants to conglomerate an aggie from Missouri with TAMU, and is willing to use the colors of the jersey of their sport teams, they could as well used used their logo. Or no logo, instead of a wrong logo (make it 2 wrong logos).

-I had great uncle who was an Aggie.
-It has a genuine Ag department where I have many friends and official interactions for many years.
-I worked for the place for 3 months
-The University of Flyover frequently plays A&M in hand-egg.
I don’t need Argentinian lectures on how a goofy image software didn’t mess with font sizes enough to please the TAMU logo police.
And back to my first statement, I bet that Not_Karl knew that ATM represented TAMU, but chose to mention the automatic teller machines for humour. He does do that, sometimes…
Frankly, the depiction of me is rather weak:
It should have been bright red, in support of our local cricket team and depicted me gritting my teeth and praying to multiple Gods as a powerful airliner points it’s nose way up so it will miss the McDonald’s Single Silver Arch when departing from the 12 runways at Flyover. Or spreading manure, or posting advice for flyboy on aviation fora.

Re: (More) IA image creation shenanigans
That was me, not not_him ("him" being "Karl", of course). And yes, I knew it referred to TAMU.And back to my first statement, I bet that Not_Karl knew that ATM represented TAMU, but chose to mention the automatic teller machines for humour. He does do that, sometimes…
Anyway, this discussion escalated out of proportions. My only real comment is that I didn't like AS's output to the input "An aggie from St. Louis". It doesn't represent well neither a TAMU student nor a St. Louis aggie (in my opinion).

Indeed, let's hope Boeing and/or Airbus had nothing to do with it.Automatic...
CONCUR.I blame (...) Boeing management.
no and yes.And back to my first statement, I bet that Not_Karl knew that ATM represented TAMU, but chose to mention the automatic teller machines for humour. He does do that, sometimes…
When writing his original post, Not_Karlie did:
- ASS-ume the goofy, oddly cylindrical, loglike, ass?hat-and-Ray-Ban-Wayfarer-loving figure was/was inspired by the mascot of a Flyoverian handegg squad.
- ASS-ume the "ATM" thing were either the real initials of a Flyoverian handegg team or at least "inspired" by them (image-generating AI is Not_very profficient with text and likes to use it in nonsensical ways, invented words and letters, etc.)
- Intentionally use an incorrect meaning of ATM with genius comic intent.
- Know that "Aggies" was the nickname of a handegg team, but ASS-umed it after seeing the handegg "mascot" in all 4 images.
- Google http://www.internet.com to confirm or discard his ASS-umption of the log-looking-dude being a Flyoverian handegg mascot.
- Google said interwebz to discover that "ATM" is in fact an actual handegg team, but from Texas and Not_Flyover. Had our AI overlords used the actual logo with the BIG T he might have imagined it, as he knows everything is BIGGER in Texas.
Are maybe the Wayfarers -instead of the more obvious Aviators- and hat part of Threewee's fenceperv attire to Not_be recognized?
Pretty strong credentials, I will Not_argue with you.-I had great uncle who was an Aggie.
-It has a genuine Ag department where I have many friends and official interactions for many years.
-I worked for the place for 3 months
-The University of Flyover frequently plays A&M in hand-egg.
I have now tried with "An agricultural worker from St. Louis.". No McDonald's Douglas single silver arch this time :Frankly, the depiction of me is rather weak:
I dared. Please note:I'm tempted to ask for an "International Super Genius Pilot of the Millennium" but I fear that so much awesomeness could make the servers explode...
-It only generated three images. It's a sign .
-He doesn't look like John Belushi .
-The ...interesting text, as I mentioned.

Re: (More) IA image creation shenanigans
I don’t know why I resemble a log; however. I am an amateur lumberjack and like telling chainsaw boy how to do his job on tree felling photos.net.
Now, Not_Karlie did Google them series of tubes for both the Texan Cajeros Automáticos' mascot and "St. Louis American Football mascot" and didn't find, in a very short perusal of the results, anything looking like AI's ATM log dude. Do you know what may have inspired it? Please do excuse my ignorance of American sports (or sports in general).
Hand egg is a sensitive subject in East Flyover. [not_italics]We blame greedy management from the team owner. We do have a modified hand egg mascot called a Battlehawk.
Conversely (repeating), Flyover is more of a cricket town- and here is our cricket mascot: Cheap red composite biofueled aircraft:
Concur!Frankly, the depiction of me is rather weak:I have now tried with "An agricultural worker from St. Louis.". No McDonald's Douglas single silver arch this time
No arch, no pesticidas, no spreading of mirada de bollo on fields nor forums!
Muchas gracias! I like them.I dared.I'm tempted to ask for an "International Super Genius Pilot of the Millennium" but I fear that so much awesomeness could make the servers explode...
This exercise has been enlightening.
Next, you should try neked regional jet pilot.
And additional possibilities remain:
Blue in the face paramedic hobby photographer
Bubble boy who likes airplane procedures
Tall Argentinian in cheap airline seat
And more

Re: (More) IA image creation shenanigans
Judging by the images, you do seem to produce fine produce (valga la redundancia). No arch, no pesticidas, no spreading of mirada de bollo on fields nor forums!
Before Gabie asks, "mirada de bollo" = "mierda de toro".
HELL NO. But I may ask for a "drunk, ancient, Nordic seaman".Next, you should try neked regional jet pilot.
Thanks for the suggestions. I had thought to ask Bingie for Evanie riding a Big Wheel tricycle and forgot.Blue in the face paramedic hobby photographer
Bubble boy who likes airplane procedures
Tall Argentinian in cheap airline seat
And more
Wasn't the blue-in-the-face one Evanie? And the retired paramedic the one whose skin you got under, giving you a warm, fuzzy feeling? I'm getting old and my memory is Not_what it used to... In any case, the results of "A warm, fuzzy aggie from St. Louis under the skin of a retired British paramedic/bubble encased, Big Wheel riding frequent flyer" might be terrifying...

No clue where the AS got the idea of the rodman. But not from the ATM aka TAMU aka Aggie aka not_TAM mascot, who is Lassie (not kidding).

Re: (More) IA image creation shenanigans
Today I wanted to see what Verbie could bring us after his ill-fated "modernization" of the antique 737, so I asked for "A Boeing 377Max". The results all looked like a 737 . So I then asked for "A Boeing 377 Stratocruiser Jetliner". The results are Not_Stratocruiserey (the second picture being the "closest"), but I liked the retro and steampunky ambience:

If the plane was a Boeing, I'm pretty sure the image would show it being built by squids.

IA SERIOUS BUSINESS!!!!!
This is enjoyable and all, but shouldn’t WE be using AI to:
-Figure out how to keep airplane attitude’s healthy (MCAS, relentless pull ups, etc.).
-Get doors bolted on.
-Not turn rudder petals into overly-sensitive cheap composite rudder full stop slappers.
-Tell some pretty girls that airplanes are for boys only.
-Remove the risk of in-flight, inadvertent propellor feathering.
-Assuring that crews don’t shut down good engines.
-Assuring that flaps are set before you leave the ramp.
-Please list others.
Speaking of AI, the damn autocorrect had rubber pedals being full-stop slippers.
