We've all heard the jokes about jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft, but what about one that's not perfectly good?

Depends on the altitude and equipment too. From what I read, it seems that, in general, below 1000ft you stay in the plane, between 1000 and 2000 you jump and go straight for the reserve, above 2000 you go for the main.

We should start by banning ALL landings, intended or Not_.
...but what about one that's not perfectly good?
If I find myself in a 737MAX, I jump out IMMEDIATELY.

He asked about one that is not perfectly good. Not about one that is perfectly not_good. It's not the same.

You should wait for the exit door plug to fall out before trying to jump through it. Otherwise you might injure yourself.
