Maybe he noticed a flap misconfiguration and/or a gremlin destroying the wing and engine?
Thankfully the cockpit door appeared to Not_be missing its nuts or pins.

Not _exactly…but I think you hit on something…

He was seated next to the door plug.

Fearing did dieding, he made a desperate CRM maneuver for safer seating in the cockpit…”Hi guys, I got a PPL, so I can monitor the transponder reply light and watch your airspeed, power and attitude. Pretty please? I’ll even refrain from giving advice on operating the aeroplanie. I’ll also get you Pepsies from the hosties and do my best to fight off cockpit intrusions and foffies who think the flaps are up…”

The thing that disappointed me the most about that article was it completely left out how many hours the guy had on MSFS.

Talk about leaving out important facts!

Of course the article is illustrated with the photo of a building with a huge BOEING sign because, why not?

Also from the article:
Jones allowed law enforcement to search his luggage, where agents found "multiple notebooks with writings describing how to operate an aircraft, including take-off, in-air, and landing techniques,"
Now that’s suspicious for a student pilot.

He is being charged with interfering with a flight crew with penalties of up to 20 years in prison.

The guy seems to be an idiot rather than a criminal. If that’s true, I hope he doesn’t spend time in jail… or in a flight deck.

Yeah, imagine a student pilot having reading material on how to fly an airplane. How crazy is that?
