Aeroplanies on the telly

Has anyone here seen this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtL60wk4gys

I watched it (just the pilot, and yes what a pun that is) and while it wasn't awful, I'm having trouble understanding why people seem to love it so much (7.0 on IMDB).

Someone in the comments praised it for its "technical accuracy", yet they have blue flames coming out the back of the engines when at high power, and the pilots seem about half the age they should be. All in all to me it seems like a rather Disney-ized version of reality. And yes I know it's fiction but...

"Technical accuracy" means they have the same model of plane in each shot and stuff. It's a low bar
