Re: 757 troubles. the latest news

Anybody know how many minute ETOPS they are operating at?
Yes.
Thanks Flyboy, just curious, 'cause, when I worked at ATA we were the first and only 757 operator (at the time) certificated for XXX minutes ETOPS.

Re: More News You Can Use - Man Proposes to Crash Plane to Prove 911 Hoax

That is stupid and a waste, How's he going to duplicate exactly what transpired. It doesn't have to melt steel beams, just weaken them so they can't support the weight and start the chain we see in the video.

Put yourself in a box and go airfreight, maybe you'll get lucky and ITS will be the PIC, and everything will be ok!

It is possible they had an MEL item that caused a higher than normal fuel burn, or reduced the quantity allowed.

How about an Air Marshal? He can shoot a pilot if one attempts to crash a plane.

Very sad. I told ITS I was way more afraid of being killed by a pilot than he could possibly be afraid of maintenance.

Re: 787 inflight structural breakup in 3....2....1....

I fix everything that I have the means to fix: I change parts on my cars if it can be done in my garage, I re-wire my house, fix my appliances, and yes I build my own computers. Question: without people hiring you to fix stuff, would you have an alternative income? You seem resentful for customers....

Re: 787 inflight structural breakup in 3....2....1....

The human contribution to global warming is generally due to two major contributors:

Your stubbornness and refusal to accept the truth in favor of your own misguided perceptions reminds me a lot of the republicans and climate change. Climate change is a funny thing.
