Re: MOST OF THIS FORUM OWES THE WORLD AN APOLOGY!!!!!
I'm thinking in this scenario, whether the *airplane* has a hush kit is unimportant.

Am I missing something? The published range of the SR-22 is about 1,000 SM, the shortest distance from California to Hawaii is about 2,000 SM. Based on those numbers, it was approximately 100% likely from the outset that the plane was going to turn into a boat.

I too wish happiness and/or joy to those members of the forum who choose to celebrate one or more of the holiday(s) that have been designated by various organizations as occurring at dates proximate to the winter solstice.

We clearly need a more involved procedure to become a member and make posts...Monchavo will have to approve folks or forward the applications to us for approval. I'd suggest an essay and a series of critical screening questions. 1) Do you love to photograph planes and evaluate liveries? (Reject) 2)...

Sometimes I wish fear didn't sell as well as it does. Never thought I'd agree with Michael Moore on much, but I agreed with him wholeheartedly when he said "we're a society strung out on fear" (or something like that). It's like we need something to be terrified of, 24/7. A masked Arab wi...

Re: Stolen Libyan Airliners; Terrorism Vehicle?
Actually, ISIS would not need any planes to run an airline... you buy a ticket, go to the airport, go to the gate, and they shoot you... and of course keep your money (all tickets are nonrefundable). Saves a ton of $$$ on aircraft purchase and maintenance, crew pay, etc. It's what *all* the airlines...

Beats the heck out of "fully uninformed"!RJ Crews: Fully Uniformed
BTW I assume this is in reference to the flight deck crew? Re the cabin crew, with certain individuals an alternate scenario might be preferable.
