A pair of researchers, one with the University of Western Australia, the other NOAA National Systematics Laboratory, has recorded on video a young bigfin squid swimming just above the seafloor at an approximate depth of 6,200 meters

This is an incredible depth, but,can anyone tell me what would that translate to in terms of height?

I'm reminded of the custodian who was asked by the building owner to measure the height of the flagpole out front. It hinged at the bottom, so he tilted it over, grabbed a tape measure, and reported back with the result: "25 feet". The owner said "no, you dummy, I wanted the *height*, not the *width*"!
