Um... I'm pretty sure that's not a squid!

Unless:
  • They're way better at disguising themselves than anyone thought
  • One rented a jetpack?
  • Squids and birds are part of a vast secret conspiracy

You should be ashamed of your utter ignorance. The Squid can (and do) control inferior creatures, like birds (as seen by the drone shoot-down I wrote about recently) and pilots.
