So can we use our phones on board or not?

5G cell signals

Postby 3WE » Wed Dec 22, 2021 9:16 am

The topic is growing in the mainstream media, and not going away.

Curious as to the details- I’d ass-ume most airports have cell service AND the 50 ft countdown seems to be part of most landings REGARDLESS of the occasional weather below the classic 200 & 0.5 which is never used except when it is.

Is 5G really a threat or is it just posturing? How do we fix it?

Maybe them five gees are actually going to did died us all after all. I suspect cephalopod involvement.
Fortunately we are smarter than them and creating countermeasures.

I am wondering how if this is a real issue it didn't come up years ago, and if it's not why it's turning into a big deal.
