A Christmas & Holiday Message from monchavo: Turning the year: 2021 into 2022

Postby monchavo » Wed Dec 15, 2021 10:36 am

Firstly, please let me extend a warm greeting to the members of ad.info, and your families this Holiday and Christmas season. My sincere hope is that you and your loved ones are able to escape, even briefly, from the stresses and discomforts that have surrounded us this last year and spend some time enjoying a rest, a break and, if possible, in the company of your loved-ones.

This last year has been very, very difficult in both a professional and personal context for many of us. With the pandemic continuing to bring enormous challenges to society (and no end in sight), the future may look somewhat bleak and difficult. Personally, it's been very tough for me and my family. I can only wish that the coming year is more productive, safer, healthier and more enjoyable for you and yours.

Thank you to the participants of ad.info for your ongoing contributions to this place - astonishingly it's 9 years since I took up the reins of ad.info and I have no intention of dropping them just yet.

Secondly, the hosting and domain costs of ad.info are about $150 USD / EUR133 / £115 a year. As you know, we don't have ads on the site and its footprint is small.

I foot this bill on my own (with one previous kind donation over the last 9 years). If you are grateful for the value that ad.info has brought you over the last few years, please consider chucking me a few of whatever currency you prefer.

You can donate at https://paypal.me/monchavo

.... and I'd be extremely grateful.

Peace be with you.

I’m afraid to see the stats…am I the #1 spammer?

Tough year here, too, and the diversion is appreciated.

Wishing everyone strength for 2022 (because good luck isn’t reliable).
