An interesting blurb on the awesome efficiency of the MD-80. It beat the 707, 727 and 737(of the time) somewhat handily…

Footnote: Joined a FB group specifically about the AA MD-80. Maybe I need to register there as AAMD-83 and make crazy rambling posts?

I believe the Lavs are bigger than Maxlavs.

To Gabe’s specific comment: Indeed.. I can think of 757 rides that were worse than vintage DC-9-X0 s.

Of course, I think the marketing department has any adjustment it wants.
