That aisle side armrest looks uncomfortable. Hopefully they didn't hit turbulence.

Wait, you got to be kidding. Are they sure this was not done with photoshop? Notice how there are some open seats? If this is true they could have moved people around to give him more space. Or that guy should have purchased two seats, period. Screw political correctness (he is not fat, just calorie-challenged) and a misunderstood idea of equality for every situation.

I'm guessing that (assuming it's not photoshopped) there are kids in those seats. And I agree with the fat remark, especially when it comes to cramming quarter-ton+ bodies into airplanes.

Do they have seatbelt extensions for cases like this?
(not that it would be any use when you're sitting on the armrest)

They do. I'd like to know how many he needed to get it halfway across the cabin and back.

That's no good in case the plane needs to be evacuated...

Or in case of a crash all you do is hug the guy and his body will provide enough cushion to soften the blow.

never mind the plane being evacuated, my concern is what happens if this guy's bowels need to be evacuated.
I can't see him getting inside a toilet booth
