Ban all biz jets?

Might be some interesting Swiss cheese and Evan admonishment.
And, while it’s premature, there’s some interesting comments, including that “the airport didn’t know where the plane was from.” Without getting literal, are they implying it was flying VFR?

I turned on Dan Juan.
He reviewed much.
My takeaway was and live ATC:
5 miles out, everything seemed fine. A minute later, “we’re landing on the interstate”.
Strange deal.

In any case, until we know more, these pilots are provisionally heroes in my mind. They really did a great job of gliding the plane and slowing down to almost traffic speed (and it was heavy traffic) before landing on the highway. They saved the 3 paxs who were able to literally walk away, they only hit 1 vehicle (no or minor injuries only), and they paid with their lives (it seems that the cockpit hit the wall when the right wing touched the wall and sup the airplane while exploding).
Re: Interesting (recent) total air disasters
Fixed.***they only hit 2 vehicles (and so far no one on the ground has did died.)***
My wild speculation is switching to an empty fuel tank, possibly dykleskicaly like the ATR dude.

Why "so far"? Any severe injuries?Fixed.***they only hit 2 vehicles (and so far no one on the ground has did died.)***
Re: Interesting (recent) total air disasters
I concede that ‘serious’ is a broad term that does not necessarily equal life-threatening.An unidentified person in one of the cars on I-75 was seriously injured, according to the FAA.

That's still worse than what I thought. I thought there had been only minor injuries on the ground.I concede that ‘serious’ is a broad term that does not necessarily equal life-threatening.An unidentified person in one of the cars on I-75 was seriously injured, according to the FAA.
Re: Interesting (recent) total air disasters
The media sucks, more than a little. A day or two after the crash- these were common snippets:***I thought there had been only minor injuries on the ground.***
Just today, I learned that they snagged a pickup truck and drug it along with them.“A car was hit, with the occupant only receiving minor injuries”. (Thanks, were OTHER car’s possibility hit too?- there was quite a bit of traffic in the pictures.)
“There were 5 people in the plane, their condition is unknown”.
…and you’d think an update on the seriously injured person would be in order.
But hey, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend won some FOOTBALL game, and that’s what really matters, right?

2. Lived in Fayetteville for 5 years. Pre XNA. Flew out of Drake a few times, and Chickendale twice. Lots of airports. Had an upper door pop open on a twin Cessna…I guess they forgot the bolts?
3. An excellent landing…is there an adjective for when paperwork and potential job losses are in play?

Link/Virgin Australia Saab 340 at Canberra, Nov 10th 2022...
...forgotten propeller strap dislodges from propeller and lodges in fuselage shortly after take-off, lightly injuring 3 passengers.
Straps were installed without high-visibility streamers nor extensions to airstairs, usual omissions for Link. Their management of straps and guidance on their usage were lacking. Several opportunities of noticing the error were wasted by both ground crew and pilots, both obviously consisting of stupid, fatigued cowmonkeys. I'd like Evanie's opinion of this event.
I'm looking forward to watch the online stream of the undoubtedly severe physical punishment and humiliation of everyone involved.
I like this comment on AvieHeraldie...
Of course this doesn't mean I'm opposed to banning ALL props; just that turbofans/jets should also be ALL banned.

...as if turbinie blades/discs never had rapidly departed their enclosures and punctured an aeroplanie's fuselage (or wings, stabilizers, other engines, etc.) wounding/killing people or causing a TAD!!!...Prop

To get back on track, don't forget that GE, the manufacturer of that locomotive, also builds aircraft engines. GE later sold the company to Wabtec who continues to this day.

Extra 330 with unlocked canopy.
TOTAL CANOPY DISASTER!!!! happens at 6:20
There was Dutch involvement but Not_of the roll kind.
This would have never happened on an open cockpit aeroplanie. Ban ALL canopies!
