When aviation & computers collide

Aviators sit in the shade of their weatherbeaten, fabric-covered biplanes, exchange hangar talk and tell stories of their barnstorming days before they take to the air again and fly toward the setting sun ....

Very appropriate, as both aeroplanies (especially Boeing) and computers usually crash...

And thus begun the neverending debate: Is it pronounced GIF or JIF?

(Yes, its creator has said it's "JIF", but he was either trolling us -computerie outsiders- or is wrong about his own creation/job and we know better, as we -aviation outsiders- frequently see with aeroplanie manufacturers and pilots).

I like:

1) Ericie’s retro, ‘80s AA 727-236A deep-stall GIF

2) Newer, high-resolution airplane GIFs, too:

Apologies.

I didn’t know how to go from my Giphy app on my IPhone to an actual GIF in Monchies file system.

Fortunately, you know how it goes.

Apologies.
This cable was clearly Not_previously used by a Boeing as it didn't explode in flames when he plugged it.gif

The attachment is working for me...

Everybody says it's a 727, but I think it's a Trident. Any way to c tell them apart in this image?

You'll have to find an image that's still a gif if you right click/long press and download it (Giphy downloads it as a webp that our forum doesn't like) or that has a link to an actual .gif that you can copy/paste here or download (like with the "share" option in Giphy).
From a full-fledged computery interwebz browser you can also use the Inspect (or equivalent) option in the right click menu to search for the actual address of the image in sites that try to obscure it. But that probably goes against use permissions or something :? (usually the same image can be found in a lot of websites so it shouldn't be a problem, though).

I'd say it's a 727 based on the shape of the vertical stabilizer. Shame the tail engine outlet is obscured by the wing thanks to the reckless AoA.
