It was the greatest turn… The best turn… Everybody says they never saw a more beautiful perfect turd ever before in the history of flying. I've talked to pilots who flew combat missions during the American revolution, Civil War, and World War I and they told me they never saw flying that good ever.

I'm confused, is s/he parodying Señor Trumpo, or has he actually talked with Kentie and BBie?

I honestly don't agree with this. It's just my opinion of course, but I view it as a contest between the party that put men on the moon, and the one that gave us Watergate. And re the former, I do believe it actually happened and was a good thing.

As a center-slightly-left leaning guy myself who is living in the US but doesn't qualify to vote yet, I would vote a rational Republican today over the current Democrats. If we don't have a Clinton (who is a fascist according to current Democrats), give me a Regan please.

That said, given the current Repubilcan candidate, I would have to vote against him no matter (almost) who is the other candidate.

Both parties have gone nuts, totally abandoned their principles, and left what I think is a majority feeling that they don't have political representation. The day that we have a rational candidate on either party who stands for the principles of his party (or what the principles of his party were 20 to 40 years ago), I would expect that candidate to win in a landslide no matter if they are blue or red.

Maybe it's just that I'm getting more bitter and disillusioned as I grow old. There's certainly a candidate I hope DOESN'T win. But I fear it will. And that doesn't mean I have much faith in the other candidate, only that one of them really scares me.

Of course, we (Argies) coming from an election where both candidates were utter crap also affects my Not_optimism.

I'm also quite worried by the growing division and fanatism (worldwide) and how politicians are fueling them.
