The best part is the whole country's voting will likely go strongly in the opposite direction in 2 and 4 years and the pendulum will go all the way back the other way, and [not_italics]we will make no forward progress on much of anything, including my personal favorite: The elusive middle ground.

Edited to add: by the way, where I live, there is a severe shortage of people willing to clean toilets for a living. If you personally know of anyone who is unemployed and willing to do that for a living, send them this way.

Just as an example of the above, our local U-Haul place is actually offering paid interviews, they're having such a hard time finding workers. And IMO that work is at least one step up from cleaning toilets.
