Saw some FB propaganda that Trump’s FAA pick was going to undo a 1,500-hour-“experience rule.

Maybe it’s true, the propaganda part was Sully pontificating how it’s a bad idea, with pictures of his good landing, and no link to further information.

I may or may not investigate further, but have also said, “if it’s safety we want, pair the most experienced with the least for Captain & FO”.

Yeah, we sort of do that if you don’t look at who’s manning the regional airliner vs. the one spending all night over the ocean going to Europe.
