Airdisaster Downtime - an apology.

Postby Administrator » Tue Sep 09, 2025 8:30 am

Everyone
I want to apologise for the downtime and service disruption we've been experiencing since Friday.
Something very odd happened - I can't tell if it was a hacking attack or an issue at the service provider (I can't even discount human error on my behalf) - but the result was that I was locked out from the board for a period of time and the only way that I could recover the situation was by pulling a backup from a previous date. This will have meant that a few posts were deleted for which I apologise.
I have limited forensic skills and capabilties to understand exactly what went wrong, but we do have working backups (which is, of course, great!).
You will notice that I am posting this from the original Administrator account from the board (which has intact unread PMs from 2009!!).
Have a great week. Sorry again for the fúckup. Cheers - monchavo.
