airdisaster.info : funding drive 2025

Hello, airdisaster.info friends.

It’s that time again in the year when we pay the bills for the airdisaster.info hosting and the domain. I have made a saving of $20 USD per year by moving the registrar to a more cost effective solution.

This year we have added a dark theme, added Cloudflare protection to the site and improved our recovery procedure after the event in the autumn (which was related to file permissions and thankfully not an attack or compromise of the site).

I use Krystal.io to host airdisaster - an ethical host which uses 100% renewable electricity (and is a good egg in the world of hosting).

Unfortunately, the total cost of hosting with my host is $220, with a domain charge of $22.

My goal is to reach a funding goal of at least $140. I am extremely grateful for your help and support to continue operating airdisaster.info into next year.
