Why remove my aviation posts?

Postby Sickbag » Thu Jul 22, 2010 8:01 am

Once again my aviation posts have been removed by , it would seem, one particulaer moderator who appears to have a bias against me and the subject matter.
What is wrong with disscussing aspects of aviation relating to donkeys? It is with in the discriptive remit of the forum is it not?, Just because one person has a distasteful prejudice against donkeys why should this jumped up clown remove my ablity to discuss donkey/aviation subjects? Why deny other forum members who may have knowledge and insights in donkey/aviation related matters from participating in the discusson?

Does the forum rules expressly forbid disscusing donkey/Aviation related rules?

Rather then keep sending me private messages threating to ban me may I suggest that he seek some councilling for his obvious Equinaphobia

Your thread on the safest way to transport donkeys was clearly aviation related, and yet has winked out of existence entirely - along with my excellent advice regarding QANTAS and the proper packaging of Australians.

Moderators: Moving threads between fora is one thing. At least members can still read the posts and draw their own conclusions. Deleting threads entirely through an irrational fear of superior legacy carriers is beneath even a ten-year-old JetPhotos SW fanboy.

I have not deleted one single thread. I have moved those donkey-threads which had nothing to do with aviation but only with donkeys into the OT forum.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, El. I take you at your word, but there are two moderators of the forum affected. Your reply narrows down the list of suspects considerably.

Talking about Australians... did you follow the AUS vs. PAK game in England. Australia shot out for 88 in their first innings. And Murali took his 800th wicket in his last test - a record that will most probably stand for quite some time.

The extent of my cricket following over here is listening to 5 minute recap on an australian news radio station online. I was shocked. Is Ponting still captain?

Yes, he still is. Don't make a mistake he is certainly still ranked amongst the top 10 batsmen in the world. The Aussies are doing better in their 2nd innings anyway - 130 odd for 2.

A company called Multichoice - they have six or seven sports channels one of them dedicated to cricket.

Excellent moderating, Marty. Real even-handed and unbiased. Amy would have been proud of you.

Unless its aviation related I either moved all his threads here thus filling this board up with it or deleted it all together, I choose to delete it.

And thus made a complete pig's ear out of the very first moderating issue you ran into. Great job, Frank & Co, appointing this xxxxx.

Well, he did manage to find (or should I say create) an issue on which Sickbag and I agree.

For once I wholeheartedly agree with Mr. FlyBoy: Moving methinks ok, *deleting* a whole thread is definitely a no-no in my book, where would all the fun go if we deleted all what some people find crappy (and others entertaining)?

Also, the thingy is definitely "aviation" related (or what else would you categorize flying donkeys as?):

Wow....such controversy.....and to think this is usually such a serious, vibrant, no-BS discussion forum.
