In related news, water is wet. By the way, there is way to prevent that sound, when I was an F/O, hardly any of my passengers had to suffer through it, and I teach it to my F/Os also. And yes, it's an approved procedure.
Mouth diapers work because my uncle died of Covid. Also, sandblasting.

Kidding aside, I'm with flyboy. Airplanes make noises... if you're going to occupy an airplane you should be prepared to deal with same.
