I ass-ume a DC-9
It was dark and I didn’t know it was coming and didn’t see anything

It was a bit loud.

A few years ago, I got on a Delta plane (think it was an MD-90 with the turboFANS) and the 2-3 seating was REVERSED.Question: does anyone know if that model (and its derivatives) having one more row of seats on one side of the centerline than the other had any effect on its design? I know the extra row of seats is pretty close to the centerline, but it's not *on* the centerline, so I wonder if the offset weight made it always want to bank to the right...
Fixed.A few years ago, I got on a Delta plane (think it was an MD-90 with the turboFANS) and the 2-3 seating was REVERSED.
It would be funny to know if there was a total air disaster related to this ‘radical’ design change.
As Evanie says, we must know our type-specific procedures, AND we need oversight, screening, regulations and fired executives.Imagine a monkeypilot accidentally applying corrective measures for the weight distribution of a DC-9-15-200 while piloting an MD-90-236A...![]()
Interesting conundrum...
