Update - Two Poles die in airplane crash in Switzerland

Created: 23.10.2008 13:49
Two Poles died in this morning’s airplane crash in Switzerland and two others were seriously injured.

Radio Zachod has released unofficial information that the plane was carrying employees of the Polish research and development firm ADB from Zielona Gora in western Poland.

This information was confirmed Thursday afternoon by an employee of the company, Joanna Legierska-Dutczak.

She added that one of the two killed in the catastrophe was a licensed airplane pilot. The plane was flying from Geneva to Berlin and it is unclear exactly as to why it landed in Zurich.

Police announced that the plane in which the Poles flew was registered in the United States.

The plane was carrying four passengers, two of which were killed instantly when it crashed, two of which sustained serious injuries and have been transported to a hospital in Zurich.

Mieczyslaw Sokolowski of the Polish Embassy in Bern said that at the time of the accident, the weather was very bad.

...we need a Polak notation for the ballistic parachute.

(It was a Cirrus SR22). But in this case, with a good trained pilot, with "airmanship" enough that didn't pull the handle, or did he tried?

Just another cast away from AD.com that reached AD.info island.

Apparently ballistic parachute can be a problem even of it’s not deployed. As it was reported here the rescue and removal of the victims from the wreckage was delayed, as the rescuers had to exchange frantic phone calls with the rocket scientists at Cirrus in order to make sure that they accidentally don’t commence the launching count down for the missile that deploys the chute.

I think he was, for some time, at least... This, combined with not being able to modify/edit your post after 30 mins may lead to questionable results if refering to what the outsid world sees... 8-)

Lately, IMHO, he has come back to whatever you are when not drunk but a freak.

So, I´d say, give him some leeway, happens to all of us freaks off and on... :D (actually, part of the definition).
