Cool, ja? I think the picture was taken in my old hometown, Tromsø. There's a video out there somewhere. Not exactly super natural, but nice coincidence with BHO's visit.

Good point Tesla, pity his name wasn't Bob. Welcome to the forum. He was an awfully strong swimmer you know. Maybe he's still out there....somwhere....I thought it was a peculiarly Australian charateristic to lose one's elected head of state?

Re: The US President
He is here, or soonish He will be. Unfortunately and surprisingly He can not control the weather which means that He will have to be driven in one of His many limousines instead of flown in one of His many helicopters. This unfortunate development will cut His program even shorter. At the press conference the Norwegian press will only be allowed ONE question and the international press ONE question, now there will probably be only ONE question in total.
I know what my question would have been. "Mr. President, considering the fact that we are only allowed one question, is it not embarrassing that I am not interested in asking you one?"

Ask him how he squares getting the peace prize with ordering a major escalation in the conflict in Afghanistan.

Sorry, the POTUS will not be present for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, nor will he be available for much else, so me no talk to Him. His popularity in Norway just took a nosedive and we all demand Billy Boy back. At least he walked the street and stopped at a coffee shop for a quick cuppa. This one is scared witless.Ask him how he squares getting the peace prize with ordering a major escalation in the conflict in Afghanistan.

You know, I was just thinking about that. We live in a twisted world.Ask him how he squares getting the peace prize with ordering a major escalation in the conflict in Afghanistan.
That would be a good question to ask him. But the only one with the balls would be Fox News and we know that Obama has pretty much given Fox News the finger.

I am now convinced that Hitler deserves a peace prize, post mortem. By inventing Blitzkreig he made the war quicker. You know, I was just thinking about that. We live in a twisted world.Ask him how he squares getting the peace prize with ordering a major escalation in the conflict in Afghanistan.

Re: The US President
So I see Obama spent most of his speech lecturing the world on why peace doesn't work.
Nice one.

I thought he said that peace requires war? Or was it war results in peace? Or maybe it was peace = war and/or vice versa?
Confused? Watch the next episode of ObamaRama and it will all become clear.

Re: The US President
This morning I was reading about some people in Coppenhagen telling Obama that "you won the peace prize, now earn it". This is in regards to his commitment to work on the climate change initiatives. But there were not really making fun of his prize....they were simply using it to make him commit to something.
But see, I always thought you first had to EARN something and then WIN it. Not the other way around.
