Marty- do you think they are going to repair this one?
No doubt it will be repaired
oh and BTW, when are you going to pay up on our previous bet?

My latest mail suggests repair work has not even started on the Qantas crackerbox as yet, there will be no money dispensed until I see that chunker take to the air again.

I agree. But I envision a very very costy repair. Given the force of the impact, probably major components of the fin, stabilizer and fuselage are damaged and need replacing.

Ok, no money until then. And then?

Problem is my role consists of 98% non bagchucking and 2% bagchucking I very rarely throw bags and Im on $30K more a year than you and you have shown no progress in nearly five years so to me that shows you are a very average airman, within four years you should have at least progressed to captian.
Actually, problem is you're an idiot who can't even spell captain. The most junior CA at my airline has just under 11 years seniority. I guess we're all just very average airmen.

I dont believe it takes 11 years to become the captain of a CRJ, thats just rubbish, if that was the case your pilot turn over would be 'through the roof' as nobody is going to sit and wait that long, there is no way it takes 11 years at my airline to become a captian.

Ka-ching - I would call that a little more than clipping. I envisioned a small bump and perhaps a scratch on the paint, not an A380 taxiing at V1 and rotating the CRJ 90 degrees......

B777, FB give it a break.

Flyboy has admitted that he accepts his life of poverty to fly airplanes. The flying part is cool.

He is a royal PITA- but he does know some stuff.

And Flyboy- lay off of 777...right or wrong, these boards live off of parlor talkers and discussions about the similarities and differences between the 737 300 and NG.

...not to mention boards that are overly obsessed with liveries, flight reports, and crotch grooming...but hell, even that place beats PPRUNE.

Okay this is thing right (Ive explained it many times) I happy with what I do, I dont care what anyone on this earth thinks about what I do, I'm very sure FB enjoys what he does too, but I also know alot through asking questions etc not only on aviation forums but also pilots and other people I work with. My jibes at FB are simply me standing my ground, which I feel I have to do, because Im labelled a lower life form because Im not in the cockpit of an aircraft for a living.

The accident A380 was released for flight and flew home to CDG/LFPG last night, 24 hrs after the incident.

That wasn't the bet. We have talked about this before. You know it. Pay up.

That's OK, Marty, I, in turn, don't believe for a second that Sir Richard Branson who is known galaxywide for being better to his dogs than to his employees would pay a semi-literate monkey $85K to chuck bags, so here we are.

And you should really learn how to spell captain before spewing shit about how long it takes to get there.

Well, which is it? Do you not care or do you have to "stand your ground"? And do you really think there is anything you can say or do to make think you're not a lower lifeform?

To hear Marty tell it, he's got a wife and five brats running around. That's a lot of vegemite, so he probably needs every penny of his imaginary 85 grand.

I will happily post a photo of my tax certificate at the end of the financial year of my real $80K earning for this year if you like

Just a correction I have a wife and five children ranging from the ages of 16 years to 8 months old, no I dont spend all my wages so they can have Vegemite on toast everyday.

I dont need to say or do anything, I know Im not a lower life form because Im not in the cockpit of an aircraft, you are actually about the only pilot I have ever come across with this attitude ( Ive never had this attitude from either ITS or DP) that anyone outside a cockpit is a lower life form, do you regularly go without your overnight bag when your on a trip ( you know your in Boston but your overnight bag is in Detroit) because you give this attitude to the ramp guys I think that would happen to you fairly regularly...............just sayin ;)

Does not matter. The bet was if they decided to repair it. That decision was yes. You lost. Settle your debt. Pay up.

But if you would like to place an additional wager on what happens post said decision then i'lll be happy to do a double or nothing.

You have two options;
-Pay up
-Double or nothing it

Thats it. I will not entertain any further attempts on your part to side step this.

My overnight bag is stowed in a special compartment directly across the from the galley, so that's not an issue, but I appreciate your concern.
